Our growing Finance team is looking for a detail oriented Finance professional with a strong Accounting background.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee GST compliance and coordinating with consultants for returns and related activities. Become a single point of contact for GST related queries.
• Review credit card/ purchase card / Petro Card / Toll Account usage and carry out accounting on fortnightly basis.
• Ensure correct cost allocations are Department wise for expenses like Insurance, Employee Vouchers etc.
• Check and monitor prepaid schedules on the AP invoice.
• Assist in Intercompany working, creating and posting intercompany transactions and reconciliation related to intercompany transactions.

• Run amortization for prepaids and maintaining the prepaid schedules on a monthly basis.
• Upload monthly balance sheet reconciliations as noted above in FloQast and get them reviewed in a timely manner.
• PreparemonthclosejournalentriesinNetSuiteincompliancewithinternalguidelines,USGAAP and respective local GAAP for supported country/legal entity.
• Follow and develop the existing month close checks in order to ensure the correctness and accuracy of bookings.
• Oversee Secretarial compliance and coordinating with consultant and ensure timely compliance of all the secretarial filings.
• Assist reporting manager in Audit Queries and other adhoc tasks related to Audit.
• Assist in bank payments on bank Portals & application of payments in NetSuite
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

  Get Hired
  Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting/Finance / MBA with atleast 3-4 years of experience in R2R(Report to Report) / shared services setup handling month close process and accounting in multi-location, multi-currency set up.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts reconciliations, Fixed Assets Accounting and Prepaids.
• Working experience of NetSuite will be an added advantage.
• Excellent proficiency of MS Office tools, specially MS-Excel(working on large data sets).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Will need to work in flexible shifts to overlap with Europe/US hours.
• Astrongteamplayerwithapositive,service-orientedattitudewhodrivesprocessimprovements to increase effectiveness of the team and minimize room for errors.
