Job Description
Come join Idera’s Corporate Accounting Organization as a Staff Accountant. We are looking for creative
problem solvers to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business. Qualified Chartered Accountants would be preferred.
Idera’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational
leadership. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret, present, and explain complex accounting
analysis & issues to various internal business partners as well as external auditors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Gather, prepare, test and maintain journal entries for a broad range of accounting areas
consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met.
• Perform month-end ledger account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances in ledger
accounts.
• Process operational transactions with high level of accuracy – including but not limited to
business accruals, bank reconciliation, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and leases.
• Assist in research of technical accounting issues as needed. Apply proper accounting treatment
required as a basis for booking journal entries and gathering audit evidence.
• Support compliance and improve processes and internal controls in area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Treasury, FP&A, Payroll, and Functional Support
teams for proper recording of transactions.
• Understands business unit and functional group strategy, priorities and offerings, developing
deep knowledge of core and adjacent markets.
What You Should Have:
• 4+ years of technical accounting experience with accruals, journal entries, and account

reconciliations.
• Candidates should have strong technical (GAAP) and financial accounting skills and ability to
document accounting conclusions in a technical white paper.
• Analytical thinker who can identify and implement effective processes improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, strong written and
oral communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience working for a fast-paced software organization and experience using Sage Intacct is a
plus.
