Financial Sponsor Group - Banker

Key Requirements:

10+ years of Investment Banking experience with exposure to Financial Sponsors/Private Equity clients. Proven track record in deal origination and execution. Established network within the financial sponsor ecosystem. Ability to lead client engagements and transaction teams.

Job Summary: The Financial Sponsor Group (FSG) Banker is responsible for managing relationships with financial sponsors, originating and executing transactions, and driving business growth. The role works closely with internal product teams to deliver strategic investment banking solutions and provide high-quality client coverage.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage and strengthen relationships with private equity firms and other financial sponsors.
• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and market research to support transaction opportunities.
• Prepare and present client pitches, marketing materials, and transaction proposals.
  
• Partner with M&A, ECM, and other product teams on transaction structuring and execution.
• Lead deal teams to ensure successful transaction delivery and client servicing.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial sponsor ecosystem.

Qualification:

MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification

Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of investment banking products and transaction execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

• 10–12 years of Investment Banking experience.
• Preferred experience of 7–10 years within the Financial Sponsor Group (FSG) domain.
