Procurement Engineer

Position: Supply Chain Executive Procurement & Material Planning (Aerospace Industry) Location: Devanahalli, Aerospace SEZ, Bangalore

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Industry: Aerospace / Precision Engineering / Manufacturing

Experience: 34 years of relevant experience in procurement, material planning, and supply chain operations within a manufacturing industry (Aerospace/Precision Engineering background preferred)

The role focuses on procurement, material planning, supplier coordination, and inventory management for seamless production execution. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end
  
  procure-to-pay (P2P) process including PO creation in SAP
• Material planning to ensure zero production stoppage
• Coordinate with international suppliers, manage order lifecycle & delivery schedules
• Participate in supplier identification, RFQs, bid evaluation, and pricing negotiation
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and delivery timelines
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Planning)
• Comply with AS9100D standards and internal audit requirements

• SAP MM module
• Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• Strong in MS office, Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Good communication & coordination abilities
• Knowledge of Aerospace supply base is an added advantage
