Job Description

Job Title: Retail Marketing & Production Specialist

Department: Retail Marketing

Reports To: Retail Marketing Manager

Location: GCC / Middle East

Job Purpose

To manage retail marketing materials, fixtures production, and in-store branding execution across key retail channels.

The role ensures high-quality implementation of POSM, stands, and Shop-in-Shop (SIS) projects while maintaining cost control, timeline adherence, and ROI visibility.

This position bridges Marketing, Sales, and Suppliers to ensure retail excellence on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Display & Fixture Production Management

  • Manage production of stands, SIS, lightboxes, signboards, and other retail fixtures.
  • Coordinate with production vendors for design, material selection, and costing.
  • Review technical drawings and ensure specifications match retail standards.
  • Supervise fabrication quality and ensure brand consistency.
  • Conduct pre-installation and post-installation inspections.

POSM & Branding Material Management

  • Plan and execute POSM production (wobblers, posters, shelf strips, danglers, etc.).
  • Ensure correct placement and visibility in stores.
  • Monitor material durability and replacement cycles.
  • Maintain a database of materials per store and per campaign.
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and global standards.

Retail Expansion & SIS Implementation

  • Support new store openings and retail expansion projects.
  • Coordinate layout planning for new SIS installations.
  • Work with landlords and retailers for approvals (where needed).
  • Ensure on-time execution of installation projects.
  • Track expansion costs vs. approved budget.

Budget & Cost Control (OBM / A&P / Retail Investment)

  • Track production and installation expenses.
  • Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality.
  • Monitor ROI of retail investments.
  • Prepare retail investment reports for management and HQ.
  • Manage vendor quotations and negotiation process.

Retail Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct regular store audits for:
  • Display compliance
  • Material condition
  • Brand visibility
  • Identify improvement areas and propose upgrades.
  • Ensure consistency across channels (Carrefour, Lulu, Emax, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Interior Design, or Business.
  • 3–6 years experience in Retail Marketing, Production, or Trade Marketing.
  • Experience in fixture production or retail branding projects.
  • GCC retail exposure preferred.

Technical Skills Required

  • Ability to read technical drawings and layout plans.
  • Knowledge of materials (wood, acrylic, metal, LED branding units).
  • Vendor management & quotation comparison.
  • Strong Excel skills (budget tracking & cost analysis).
  • Project management coordination skills.
