Ideapoke - Applied Business Researcher

Role Summary:
We are looking for an Applied Business Researcher who brings strong experience in market and technology research, along with an interest in building structured, scalable research outputs using AI. This role sits at the intersection of research, analytics, and product development and focuses on transforming complex business questions into repeatable, high-quality research outputs.
This role is well-suited for professionals who enjoy combining analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and emerging AI tools to improve how research is done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal teams to understand client business challenges and frame clear research questions.
- Translate research objectives into structured, reusable research tasks and workflows.
- Analyze data to identify insights, patterns, and relationships.
- Use AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate research and insight generation, while applying validation techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Design data collection and analysis frameworks that are repeatable and scalable.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure research workflows are structured, scalable, and ready for product integration.

- Review AI-assisted outputs, identify inconsistencies/ gaps, and help refine logic or structure to improve overall research quality.
- Present research outcomes through clear narratives, structured outputs, and intuitive visual formats that support executive decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
- BE / BTech + MBA is a must.
- 5-8 years of experience in business research, market intelligence, technology research, or consulting-led research roles.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, problem framing, validation approaches, and insight generation.
- Exposure to data analysis concepts and comfortable working with structured frameworks, templates, and research workflows.
- Hands-on experience using AI or LLM-based tools for research, analysis, or synthesis.
- Ability to assess the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs and apply critical thinking to refine them.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly.
Good-to-have/ Relevant Exposure
- Prior exposure to building or improving internal research platforms, tools, or frameworks.
- Familiarity with basic programming concepts or structured data formats.
- Experience working with product, analytics, or technology teams.
- Interest in making research outputs more scalable, repeatable, and product-ready.
