Product Manager-Loan Against Securities (LAS)

Role/ Job Title: Product Manager – LAS
Function/ Department: Wealth, Retail Liabilities.
Job Purpose
The role holder has the responsibility to own, drive the product distribution and revenue generation. It entails aligning business and technical components to deliver banking needs to the customers in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner. It includes managing teams, systems, process and culture amenable to the scale and ensuring consistency of delivery. Role will closely collaborate with Retail team - Wealth Managers, Branch Banking RMs, Digital Alliance Product Team, Policies, Operations, Risk, Compliance & IT. This role encapsulates the responsibility of providing a seamless and fulfilling customer experience and ensuring IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Proactively ensuring to stay ahead of competition which includes product launch & new product variant to meet customers & channel partners needs.
• 
  Developing, deploying and launching product in order to ensure the suitability, sustainability and enhance the attractiveness of products to the market.
• Tailor the suitable sales policies for different markets, DL partners, customer’s segmentation to enhance the sales volume of product.
• Effectively manage product strategies based on feedback from Biz & Risk in order to ensure higher revenue & delinquencies within tolerance level.
• Market research survey, analysis and update market information, as well as key business data of competitors.
• Expertise in digital lending, onboarding and servicing customer needs on digital channel will be an advantage.
• Ready with solutions for complex system workarounds and ensure readiness before launch.
• Keep track and adjust regularly the product regulations / sales policies to ensure the compliance with regulatory and Company internal policies.
• Responsible for preparing and obtaining business case documents for distribution and internal approvals.
• Work with pricing actuaries for obtaining competitive new product pricing within pricing benchmarks.

  Get Hired
  Ensure bank meets the audit, compliance & regulatory requirements.
• Gather latest Market intelligence and track and benchmark against best practices in competitor banks.
• Recommend process changes in order to improve business efficiency and quality across the assigned area.
• Recommend improvements to policies across the Retail Banking business to drive operational efficiencies & high quality customer experience.
• Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  

Education Qualification
Graduation: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology / Math’s / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Management/ any other.
Experience: 5 to 10 years in total experience
