About the Role
The Territory Manager 2-Wheeler Loans is responsible for sourcing and managing loan business through dealers, and existing channel partners. The role focuses on building a high-quality loan portfolio while ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role holder is expected to lead a team, maintain strong market relationships, and drive business growth in a sales-supportive yet risk-conscious manner, contributing to the broader objectives of the banks retail lending business.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Source and manage business through dealers, and other market channels.
- Acquire new customers and ensure consistent loan disbursement volumes.
- Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by minimizing delinquencies and rejections.
- Monitor and guide channel partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Stay updated on retail asset products, operational processes, and market trends.
- Identify evolving market dynamics and develop strategies for channel development and customer acquisition.
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, processes, and compliance guidelines.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and credit policies to enhance operational efficiency and customer service quality.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- To improve the sourcing from the strategic alliances and direct channels.
Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending, preferably in 2-wheeler loans or similar asset-based financing.
- Strong understanding of retail lending products and credit operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Proven ability to manage sales channels and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on portfolio quality and risk management.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance.
