What You ll Do

* Oversee all billing processes including direct bill accounts, group invoices, and commissions
* Review and reconcile daily revenue postings between the PMS and financial systems
* Monitor customer accounts and resolve billing disputes quickly and professionally
* Manage aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and enforce hotel credit policies
* Approve or recommend credit applications based on risk assessments
* Prepare accounts receivable reports including aging analysis and collection performance
* Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and revenue audits
* Provide documentation for internal and external audits
* Supervise and mentor accounts receivable staff, ensuring deadlines and accuracy are met
* Train team members in billing procedures, systems, and customer service standards
* Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, and Events teams for accurate billing and documentation

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or similar) is an advantage
* 3 5 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in hospitality
* At least 1 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
* Familiarity with Opera, Sun Systems, or similar hotel/finance systems
* Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and credit management
* Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
* Customer-focused with problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
