We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to strengthen our digital presence and support our admissions, events, and academic communication initiatives.


Role Overview

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for executing platform-specific content strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The role requires strong writing skills, analytical capability, visual sensibility, and the ability to coordinate effectively with designers, videographers, faculty, and external agencies.


Key Responsibilities

1. Content Planning & Execution

  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with admissions cycles, events, placements, research highlights, and academic milestones.
  • Draft compelling captions in British English suitable for LinkedIn and aspirational messaging for Instagram.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers and videographers to ensure timely delivery of creatives and reels.
  • Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite.

2. Platform Growth & Optimisation

  • Drive organic growth across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Implement hashtag strategy, keyword optimisation, and SEO-friendly descriptions.
  • Optimise YouTube titles, thumbnails, tags, and descriptions.
  • Monitor platform trends and recommend content innovations.

3. Community Management

  • Respond to comments, messages, and admission enquiries within defined timelines.
  • Maintain professional tone and brand alignment in all public interactions.
  • Coordinate with the admissions team for timely follow-ups on social media leads.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and escalate sensitive matters appropriately.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly performance reports with platform-wise insights.
  • Track reach, engagement rate, follower growth, impressions, saves, and shares.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and share actionable recommendations.
  • Present performance insights to the Brand Communication Manager.

5. Event & Campaign Support

  • Provide real-time coverage of campus events, guest lectures, workshops, and festivals.
  • Ensure post-event highlights are published within 2448 hours.
  • Support digital campaigns in collaboration with marketing agencies when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management (education sector preferred).
  • Proficiency in AI, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, and YouTube Studio.
  • Good copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Basic understanding of design principles and short-form video trends.
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
