Job Description
- As a Performance Test Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and stability of our systems through comprehensive performance testing. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing performance test plans, conducting load/traffic modeling, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing load profiles and test scripts, performing capacity planning, analyzing test results, and generating detailed performance test reports.
You will work closely with development teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues, as well as stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in performance testing to share knowledge with the team. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and other technical forums to ensure that performance considerations are addressed effectively.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Performance Test Engineer. Strong proficiency in load/traffic modeling, load design, and capacity planning is essential, as well as hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, NeoLoad, and LoadRunner. You should have a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ideally, you will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Certification in performance testing, such as ISTQB Performance Testing Certification, would be a plus.
