Senior Manager Central Credit (Governance, Audit & Controls)

Qualification : CA or MBA - Finance only
About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Credit Governance professional to strengthen our Central Credit function. The role will be responsible for driving credit controls, audit management, regulatory compliance, risk monitoring, process governance, and quality assurance across the organization.
The incumbent will work closely with Credit, Risk, Audit, Compliance, Operations, and Business teams to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and credit quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end credit audit activities including file audits, branch audits, and quality control reviews.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, and Regulatory Audit teams and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Monitor adherence to credit policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Review and update credit process notes, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor UCIC creation, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Track regulatory submissions and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Drive Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities within the credit function.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Experience in Central Credit, Credit Governance, Credit Audit, Credit Control, Credit Quality, Risk Management, or Compliance functions.
- Experience in Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), NBFCs, Banks, or Retail Lending organizations.
- Strong understanding of credit policies, audit processes, regulatory requirements, and risk controls.
- Exposure to RCSA, internal controls, audit management, and process governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in mortgage, affordable housing, LAP, or retail asset products will be preferred.
