Business Analyst - Insurance

Business Analyst: We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in the Insurance domain to join our growing consulting team.
This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale business transformation initiatives, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic programs across insurance and banking ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, deep domain expertise, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams while driving successful project outcomes in dynamic and agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and transformation goals.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for operational improvements and digital transformation.
- Support the design and implementation of business solutions within insurance and banking environments.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.
- Work closely with Agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Assist in solution validation, UAT coordination, defect management, and deployment readiness activities.

- Prepare business documentation, process maps, gap analyses, impact assessments, and executive-level presentations.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication across multiple levels of the organization.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3 - 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Business Transformation Consultant.
- Strong experience within the Insurance domain, including an understanding of insurance products, operations, processes, and business workflows.
- Exposure to Banking Transformation Programs and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Solid understanding of banking systems, operating models, and business processes.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, business analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with senior leadership teams.
- Experience working with both business and technology stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation, modernization, or process improvement programs.
- Exposure to insurance technology platforms, core banking systems, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience creating business cases, impact assessments, and transformation roadmaps.
- Knowledge of industry-standard business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant professional certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
