Job Description

Notice Period: Immediate only / 15 days as serving notice or Service Notice (Negotiation notice will not be considered)
Experience: 9 12 yrs
Locations: Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore
Primary Skill: BA + Credit Risk Management

Business Analyst: Credit Risk Management
Mandatory:- Good Communication Skills (Both verbal and written)
7+ years of relevant work experience (credit risk model development or model validation).
Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Statistics;
Experience in data management, methodology, design & analysis, calibration & adjustments to calibration, documentation, governance and regulatory compliance;
Thorough understanding of Credit Risk Models (Basel 3, IFRS 9, internal or regulatory stress tests)
Familiar with loan products and sectors (i.e. mortgage loans, unsecured loans, revolving loans);Credit Risk knowledge and experience
Experience in direct analysis of company performance, developing models, both mathematical and statistical ones that directly relate to the risk being measured, recording anticipated economic environment changes, analyzing periodic market patterns, tracking legislation and government policies
Familiar with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) with regards to documenting maintenance plans, reports, and / or procedures.
Possess domain and functional expertise on understanding business requirements from stakeholders.
Proficiency in Business Analysis, Requirement Elicitation, Gap/Impact Analysis, Message/Data mapping, FAT Validation.
Generating Business Requirement Document, Functional Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams, User Stories, Backlog etc.
Client facing skills with senior executives (client and internally)
Desirable:- Experience in Software life cycle (SDLC)
Basic knowledge on technical aspects of software products/projects (interfaces, connectivity, databases, Application servers, Middleware, SOA, data warehousing, Archive / Purge)
Beneficial
Working experience with product /project implementation in medium or large scale banks

Product roadmap activities and DevOps strategies
Site implementation experience of any popular payment products (Fundtech, clear2Pay)
Experience talking in external forums/conferences etc. is a plus.
Experience of working with Agile methodology.
Some of the key (but not limited to) responsibilities will be:
  • Requirement gathering: In collaboration with the Feature Designer (Business Analyst) and other project stakeholders, such as project managers, subject matter experts, to understand and document requirements.
  • Requirement analysis: Once the requirements are gathered, the functional analyst analyzes them to identify any inconsistencies, gaps, or conflicts. They ensure that the requirements are clear and complete.
  • Functional Design: Based on the requirements, the functional analyst creates functional design specs. These outline how the system will meet the business needs and describe the expected behavior of each component, module, or feature.
  • Documentation: The functional analyst is responsible for creating detailed documentation, which will serve as references for the development team, testers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with Development Team: The functional analyst works closely with the development team to communicate the requirements and provide clarifications when needed. They act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that the development aligns with the functional specifications.
  • Testing Support: During the testing phase, the functional analyst assists the testing team by providing test cases, test scenarios, and guidance on expected system behavior. They may also participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or defects discovered during testing.
  • Team player, be able to work independently, be highly motivated and possess good communications skills with regards to interacting with various cross-functional team members and in writing maintenance support documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand functional and technical issues.
