: Scheme and Discount Trend Analyst
The Scheme and Discount Trend Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing promotional schemes, discounts, and pricing strategies for our liquor products. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, market knowledge, and a keen understanding of consumer behavior to drive sales while maximizing profitability.
What will you do day-to-day

• Evaluate the effectiveness of current promotional schemes, such as seasonal discounts and loyalty programs, and recommend improvements.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights that can inform future scheme development.
• Monitor discount levels across various channels and products.
• Analyze the impact of discounts on sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
• Recommend discount strategies to attract customers without compromising on profitability.
• Stay updated with market trends, competitor pricing, and promotional activities.
  
• Identify opportunities and threats in the market that could affect pricing and discount strategies.
• Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotional activities.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
• Create regular reports detailing scheme and discount performance metrics.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of pricing and promotional strategies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support cross-functional initiatives.
  

What are we looking for

• Education: Either CA/MBA/BCOM
• Experience: 2 to 7 years
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the liquor or FMCG/Manufacturing sectors.
• Extensive experience in preparing MIS and dashboards, as well as using data analysis tools/software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
