Procurement, Senior Executive- Indirect Material

About the role

As an Asst. Manager Procurement, He will be responsible for the Procurement of Plant Machinery, Engineering materials, and General Consumables for the Manufacturing Location. Ensuring smooth operation by working closely with Manufacturing Team & Other Business Functions. Handling end-to-end procurement activities as per the P2P Process. Identifying Saving Potential by developing New / Alternate Vendor in business. Developing Source of Old Bottles from Market. Having a Knowledge of Inbound and Outbound logistics. Should have knowledge of Imports of material.

What you will do day-to-day?

• Coordination with Manager for closure day to day activities related to Procurement Dept.


• Responsible for Cost-Effective and Favorable Procurement of Plant & Machinery (Capital Assets), Engineering Materials,


• Consumables (Opex). Inviting & analyzing quotations and Preparing a comparative statement.


• Ensure timely Closure of Indents received from user Dept.


• Vendor Development & Negotiate to arrive at the best Quality & Lowest Cost Proposition from the Supplier/Vendor.


• Creation and Issuance of Purchase Order and maintaining the records for the same.


• Track Purchase Orders . Ensure timely delivery of Material and review the quality of purchased products.


• Creating Monthly Reports, MIS & presentations for monthly review, highlighting department achievements & driving meaningful transformation for projects.

• B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical.


• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing background is a must


• Minimum Experience: 2-3 Years.


• Good Negotiation, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills.


• Demonstrated ability to work in a Dynamic and Intense Environment.


• Well Versed with documentation and system adherence in Procurement Function.


• Well Versed with Excel.
