Job Description
- As a frontend engineer at Infilect, you will be responsible for building a highly performant, robust UI that strikes a balance between simplicity and complexity. Collaborating closely with design and product teams, you will play a key role in feature decision-making and design. Architecting and designing the front-end codebase for extensibility, testability, and modifiability will be crucial for delivering a high-quality product.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform full-stack app development or collaborate with back-end engineers on designing and implementing REST APIs
- Develop customer-facing front-end/full-stack apps for machine learning-driven products
- Build internal front-end/full-stack apps for internal data engineering platforms
- Collaborate with UX designers to iterate on UI designs
- Manage and enhance front-end apps
**Skills Required:**
- 3-5 years of product development experience
- Proficiency in client-side frameworks like React/Vue/Svelte or Meta Frameworks like Next.js, SvelteKit, and Remix
- Strong command of CSS for building responsive web apps
- Ability to understand and design REST APIs for complex front-end functionality
- Basic understanding of Docker/Kubernetes or similar technologies for smooth deployment and developer experience
- Familiarity with image optimization and browser caching strategies for handling large image datasets
- Design thinking skills to make UI/UX decisions that enhance workflows
