Role Overview :

As the Chief Supply Chain & Inventory Management, you will orchestrate the entire supply chain lifecycle, from strategic sourcing and procurement to warehousing, logistics, and final distribution. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performing team, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless operational flow across all touchpoints.

You will collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Sales, and Production teams, as well as managing critical relationships with external suppliers and logistics partners. Your strategic vision and operational excellence will directly impact cost efficiency, product availability, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, the sustainable growth and profitability of the business in Bhubaneshwar.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support business expansion objectives.
- Lead end-to-end inventory management, implementing best practices for forecasting, planning, and optimization to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and fostering strong, strategic partnerships to secure high-quality materials and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance visibility and performance.
- Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional development.
- Establish robust S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, ensuring seamless execution and responsiveness to market changes.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, quality protocols, and company policies throughout the supply chain operations.
- Implement and manage supply chain risk mitigation strategies to safeguard against disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Present performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and operational insights to senior leadership, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing large-scale supply chain strategies, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory optimization.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance in complex operational environments.
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of securing advantageous terms and building lasting supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities, adept at leveraging data and technology to drive informed decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of articulating complex strategies and influencing outcomes at all organizational levels.
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field from a premier institution.
- Adaptability to lead and manage operations effectively from our Bhubaneshwar office, ensuring hands-on oversight and local team engagement.
