Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and commercially savvy Customer Success Manager (CSM) to drive product adoption, ensure customer value realization, and own the full renewal lifecycle. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align with executive stakeholders, deeply understand customer objectives, handle commercial conversations confidently, and proactively mitigate churn risks. The ideal candidate is equal parts relationship-builder, strategist, and commercial negotiator.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Adoption & Value Realization

  • Own post-sales customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal. Drive product adoption, usage expansion, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute customer success plans aligned to customer objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders. Identify expansion opportunities and partner for upsell/cross-sell motions.

Renewal Ownership & Commercial Responsibility

  • Own and drive the full renewal cycle to ensure on-time renewals. Forecast renewals accurately and manage churn risk proactively.
  • Lead commercial conversations including pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and objection handling.
  • Navigate budget constraints and procurement processes effectively.
  • Protect and grow ARR within assigned accounts.

Executive Alignment & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships across business and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive executive alignment on value realization and long-term partnership strategy.
  • Translate customer business goals into measurable success outcomes.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product and roadmap decisions.

Risk Management & Escalation Handling

  • Identify churn signals early and create mitigation strategies.
  • Lead critical escalations with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Support, Finance) to
    resolve issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Customer Success / Account Management within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience owning renewals and driving ARR retention.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience handling pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Experience engaging C-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct executive business reviews independently.
  • Strong objection-handling and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret usage data and translate into action.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience managing enterprise and mid-market accounts.
