Job Description
- As a VBA Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop VBA based macros on various applications including Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, PPT, Mainframe, Web Scrapping, SAP, and other VBA supported applications. You will actively participate in documenting business requirements discussions with clients and operations teams. Your role will involve writing codes, performing testing, and deploying tools on operation floors. Additionally, you will provide support on operation floors for maintenance and change requests, as well as create User Manuals and Case Study documents. You will be expected to assess processes, identify automation opportunities, and conduct project feasibility studies with development effort estimation and planning.
In terms of technical requirements, you must possess expertise in Excel VBA macros, Python, Power Platform coding, and scripting. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interactive development environment is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for documenting discussions. You should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and have hands-on coding experience in multiple technologies like JavaScript, .NET framework, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and C. An understanding of databases such as SQL or Oracle is required, and familiarity with Citrix environments would be considered an additional advantage. Experience with RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Workfusion, or Blue Prism is also beneficial. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, such as BCA, BCS, BSc, MCA in Information Systems, or equivalent experience, is mandatory.
