Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate AI/ML Intern Computer Vision to join our R&D team. You will work on real-world applications of machine learning, deep learning, and 3D computer vision models that power our Digital Twin and Observance platforms. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building production-ready models, and contributing to impactful products used in large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, train, and optimize computer vision models for object detection, semantic segmentation, instance segmentation, and defect detection.
• Work with 3D data such as point clouds, meshes, LiDAR scans, and image datasets.
• Build and improve deep learning pipelines using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Support development of AI modules powering Digital Twin workflows and automated progress tracking systems.
• Perform data preprocessing, annotation validation, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Assist in integrating ML models into production-ready systems.
• Document experiments, maintain version control, and collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Knowledge of Computer Vision concepts such as image processing, detection, and segmentation techniques.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow).
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills.

• Exposure to 3D Computer Vision, point cloud processing, or mesh analysis.
• Experience working with OpenCV, PCL, or similar libraries.
• Experience working with Pytorch

• Understanding of LiDAR data, Scan-to-BIM workflows, or 3D model formats (OBJ, PLY, IFC, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools (Docker).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, MLflow, etc.
• Experience contributing to GitHub projects or maintaining a portfolio of ML projects.

Duration & Stipend

• Internship Duration: 36 months (extendable based on performance).
