Job Description

Under the supervision of the Team Lead of Accounts Payable, the main mandate of the Accounting Clerk is to check, classify and enter the invoices to be paid, prepare and verify all the customer invoicing supports from the INFOR software, reconcile the supplier and customer statements, and provide support in various ad hoc mandates.
This role will be perfect for you if :
  • You pay great attention to details and have exceptional organizational skills
  • Have one year of experience in accounting
Responsibilities
More specifically, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for:
  • Manage the generic payables mailbox
  • Proceed in a meticulous way to the numerical classification of the supporting documents
  • Enter supplier invoices;
  • Reconcile and enter credit card bills;
  • Reconcile and process expense reports;
  • Respond to requests from suppliers and employees;
  • Resolve potential issues related to supplier invoices;
  • Verify and assemble supporting documents for customer invoicing;
  • Verify and reconcile the statements from suppliers and customers.
Requirements:
PROFILE
Education
  • Diploma in accounting completed
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or accounting;
Skills And Knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office tools;
  • Good knowledge of English both orally and in writing (French is an asset);
  • Great organizational skills and good priority management;
  • Precision and attention to details;
  • Concern for a job well done;
