Job Summary:
The Finance Associate will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Process Publisher/Customer payments per company guidelines.
• Create monthly invoicing for Publishers and apply payments on a monthly basis.
• Respond to payment inquiries raised by Publishers or Insticator staff.
• Calculate commissions and bonuses for Sales and Account Managers on a quarterly basis.

• Assist with the processing of employee salaries and contractor payments.
• Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts (vendors, expense reports, etc.)
• Assist CEO and Director of Finance, on ad hoc projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Proficient in Google Office Suite or Microsoft Office products..
• Familiarity with, but not required, Bill.Com, Tally, and Tradeshift.
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required.
• At least 3-4 years of related experience required.
