Accountant Receivable Specialist

Integral Ad Science is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. The role will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will be part of a team of five core accounts receivable members based in the United States that oversee all accounts receivable across the America region.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding receivables and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Review open accounts for collection efforts
• Assist with credit/rebills to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist with sending collection emails for delinquent accounts in a professional manner
• Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
• Effectively track, report and resolve all outstanding disputed items
• Reconcile customer payments on account.
• Enlist the efforts of Customer Success teams when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
  

Key Requirements

• Ideally 3-5 years accounts receivables experience
• Demonstrate communication, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to identify potential issues, resolve if possible and escalate as needed
• Ability to perform account reconciliations
• Ability to interact with high-level management, both internal and external
• Ability to multi-task, and to work independently in an organized manner with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software (Workday and Salesforce preferred)
• Ad-Tech, Advertising or Marketing sector experience is preferred
