Intellect Bizware Services - Solution Architect - SAP FICO

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic SAP FICO Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of SAP Financial solutions across enterprise transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FICO with hands-on experience in both ECC and S/4HANA environments, including greenfield and brownfield implementations.

You will be the finance technology leader guiding process optimization, system integration, and digital finance modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

- Lead the end-to-end design of SAP FICO solutions in alignment with business processes and industry best practices

- Design financial architecture including GL, AR, AP, AA, CO-PA, CO-OM, Banking, and Taxation

- Define the to-be processes and system architecture for S/4HANA transformation programs

- Review and guide the configuration and customization of SAP FICO to meet business requirements

- Ensure alignment of the solution with cross-module integration (MM, SD, PP, PS, and HR)

Project Leadership

- Work with business stakeholders, finance leadership, and project managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables

- Provide architectural governance and technical guidance during project execution and support phases

- Conduct fit-gap analysis, system assessments, and solution prototyping

- Ensure high-quality documentation blueprints, functional specs, test cases, and training materials

- Lead solution validation through system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Stakeholder Engagement

- Serve as the primary SAP FICO SME for client engagements, workshops, and executive discussions

- Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and finance transformation teams

- Translate complex technical topics into clear business language for decision-makers

Technical Integration & Compliance

- Ensure solution compliance with global accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and localization (India GST, TDS, etc.)

- Collaborate with Basis, Security, and ABAP teams for technical design, performance tuning, and interface management

- Integrate with third-party systems (e.g., treasury, tax engines, banking interfaces, RPA tools)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent

- Minimum 10 years of SAP FICO experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Universal Journal, New Asset

Accounting, and Central Finance (preferred)

- In-depth understanding of financial closing, reporting, controlling processes, and profit center accounting

- Strong expertise in costing, budgeting, product costing, and internal orders

- Working knowledge of Fiori apps, S/4HANA innovations, and SAP Activate methodology

- Experience in integration scenarios with MM, SD, PP, PS, and external systems
