Job Description
- As an Angular Lead at Intellect Design Arena Ltd., a global leader in financial technology, you will be a key player in the digital product engineering team. Your role will involve leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality enterprise applications using Angular and associated technologies. Here is a breakdown of what is expected from you:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-end development team and mentor junior developers
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and front-end architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Angular applications with high performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration
- Drive coding best practices, performance optimization, and maintainability standards
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, scalability, and security
- Identify UI bottlenecks and recommend/implement performance improvements
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in Angular 10+ (preferably Angular 12/13 or higher)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with RxJS, NgRx or other state management tools
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
- Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility
- Exposure to tools like Webpack, Jest/Karma, ESLint, Prettier
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience working in BFSI domain or enterprise-grade applications
- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
