Job Description
The Director of Accounts Receivable will be responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable operations, including credit, collections, and chargebacks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strong analytical skills, should know the KPI metrics and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts receivable department, including credit, collections, and chargebacks.
- Participate in the month end close process by reviewing journal entries and reconciliations with a primary focus on accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient management of accounts receivable.
- Manage and motivate the accounts receivable team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely payment and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and report on accounts receivable performance, including delinquency rates and aging reports.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce delinquency rates.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and abilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Continuously evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and implements or proposes optimization of current processes and/or procedures.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with US based team. Effectively manages relationships and business processes of all clients and owners.
- Establishes and conducts performance reporting for all clients.
- Provides regular revenue management reports to management. Provides periodic status reports and ensures timely identification and reporting of potential risks to positive cash flow, public image, or legal compliance. Alerts senior management and operations leaders of such concerns in the areas of accountability as soon as they are identified.
- Provides ongoing leadership and operational oversight in the development, use and maintenance of systems for accounts receivable management.
- Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends in order to establish and ensure the necessary direction for the revenue cycle activities.

Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in US healthcare Revenue Cycle Management with at least 8+ years in a Leadership role
- MBA degree from a reputed university required
- Expert level proficiency in core healthcare revenue cycle functions including billing, posting AR, collections, coding and credentialing.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects and drive the team to results.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ownership driven and results oriented
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have a flair for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a positive work attitude including willing to work some long hours.
