Your Role
Technical Project Manager is the gateways to our engineering organization. As a TPM, you are responsible for initiating engineering work, supervising their progress, and serving to drive resolution of technical issues that may arise. TPMs liaison with engineering, client services and product organizations to identify and drive technical implementations. You will communicate project status frequently up and down the organization and suggest changes to use engineering capacity efficiently. As a TPM, you will identify technical impact on the organization when there is change in scope or new business requirements come in.
As a TPM in the Digital wealth engineering org, you will primarily be involved in three broad areas:
- Work-Intake, Tracking & Reporting:
- Customer Success:
- Technology Support:
Key Proficiencies
- Strong customer focus with bias for action.
- Ability to identify and drive to a tactical and strategic resolution for potential risk areas.
- Excellent, precise communication skills, being able to clearly identify problems at hand and with explanations to be provided.
- Being able to stay on top of the big picture and view inter-connectivity of tasks and solutions.
- Ability to taking care of flexibility and change without getting flustered, especially in quickly evolving production client scenarios.
- Ability to develop trust with various internal and external facing teams and clients.
- Encourage others: Demonstrate a deep passion for technology and financial domain and build an ability to tap into the creative minds of the engineering team.
- Maintain a broad understanding of our systems, customers and business goals.
- 11+ years of software development or testing experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a project or program manager for software products, software engineer or other allied technical roles.
- Financial domain expertise, particularly, familiarity with US financial markets. Familiarity with US financial planning / wealth management is a big plus.
- Kanban / Agile project management familiarity
Any engineering degree from a top tier educational institution preferred
