Job Description
Springwel Mattresses is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Controller You will be managing account records, revising and updating financial reports, and preparing financial data for audits, reviews, and taxation.To ensure success as a Finance Cotroller, you should possess in-depth knowledge of best practices in financial management and experience in a similar environment. An outstanding finance associate will be someone whose expertise results in accurate financial reporting and efficient account
- Lead Accounts & Reporting of Listed Company Financial Statements and its subsidiaries- Take ownership of Groupoups multi-currency consolidation process (including extensive joint venture accounting) for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes- Managing accounting operations (often including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition)- Oversees internal, external, and regulatory audit processes- Maintaining accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures- Ensure implementation of internal audit findings- Direct and indirect tax compliances. Providing tax planning advice with reference to current legislation, as well as tax issues associated with business mergers and acquisitions- Maintaining and updating fixed asset records- Managing cash flow, bank balances, Fx hedging, Fund and non-fund based limits- Managing relationships with Banks (negotiating credit limits, rate of interest, transaction costs etc)- Initiate & follow up on IT initiatives including ERP implementations.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field.- At least 8
