Job Description
- You will be responsible for managing the transfer pricing function in India, ensuring accurate intercompany agreements, using the BEPS PeopleSoft tool, and maintaining up-to-date TP documentation. Your role will involve ensuring compliance and operational efficiency through timely analysis of intercompany transactions, statutory filings, benchmarking studies, and providing support during audits. Additionally, you will be driving strategic tax initiatives such as structuring for new projects, process improvements, and maintaining robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the transfer pricing function in India to ensure accuracy and currency of intercompany agreements, BEPS PeopleSoft tool usage, and TP documentation
- Oversee the timely and accurate analysis of intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with local transfer pricing requirements
- Support the review and optimization of intercompany arrangements
- Assist in responding to tax authority queries, audits, and assessments, coordinating with external auditors and consultants as necessary
- Drive process improvements, maintain updated SOPs, and ensure adherence to SOX requirements where applicable
- Review and conduct benchmarking studies to support transfer pricing positions
- Support tax structuring for new projects and intercompany transactions, including preparing supporting agreements and documentation
Key Skills & Experiences:
- Education: Graduate Diploma in Financial Management/CA/CWA/MBA(F)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional/management experience in taxation and compliance
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing regulations, international tax laws, and their practical implications across jurisdictions
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly PeopleSoft
- Experience in preparing and reviewing TP documentation, benchmarking studies, financial analysis, reconciliations, etc.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret tax implications of business operations
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and auditors
- Adherence to key controls and compliance requirements, understanding the implications of non-compliance
- Ability to interpret and provide information to meet audit requirements, including internal, external, and SOX audits
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex tax and TP matters clearly
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and overall computer skills
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work across different time zones or shift timings as needed
