Role - SAP FICO Senior Consultant

Summary

We seek an experienced and talented SAP FICO Senior Consultant with a proven track record in SAP FICO implementations, upgrades and AMS support. As a FICO Senior Consultant, you will support the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our clients business needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional consulting skills, deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Should have worked on Incidents, Tickets, Change Requests, and Change Management processes.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
• Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Should be able to read and debug the ABAP program.
• Should be able to provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Should be willing to work in Japan, UK, and US rotational shift timings.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree or masters in commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field.
• 6 - 8 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FICO Senior Consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Candidate should have strong exposure in Financial Accounting i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, Taxes, Cost center and Profit center accounting, Asset accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling.
• Should know FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, Project System, COPA, Banking - EBS & DME.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP certification in FICO is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
