About The Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
  • He/she will be responsible to manage the internal GST functions of Invest India as well as will play advisory role for clients.
  • Should have the working knowledge of Direct tax as well. Familiar with TDS/ Income tax return / Lower Deduction of Tax etc .
  • He/ she should have expert knowledge to support sector/Country/state team to advise on Indirect Tax matters.

  • The candidate should possess expert knowledge of GST, Custom, FTP and should be able to interpret and help on Free Trade Agreements.
  • Should be able to create presentations on various topics of IDT required for Sector, Country and State teams as per the need.
  • Should be able to manage the internal filling and GST work independently.
Qualifications
  • CA with 5-7 years of experience.

  • Relevant Tax experience within Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, Strong Tax technical skills and keen to develop further.
  • Excellent communicator in range of situations both written and oral.
  • Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Practical knowledge of managing task independently.
  • Must have practical experience of filling return, representing before the authority.
  • Advance level of PPT, Excel and Word.
