Job Description
- As a Tamil Voice Acting Specialist AI Trainer, your role will involve recording short scripted reads in Tamil with near-native proficiency. You will be responsible for delivering clean diction, natural delivery, and consistent quality in your voice acting/voiceover work. Expressiveness and conversational tone are key qualities we are looking for in your recordings. If you have a quiet space and a decent microphone, we encourage you to showcase your skills to us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record short lines and paragraphs in Tamil with various tones including friendly, neutral, and authoritative.
- Participate in paired or group script readings with other Tamil-speakers, typically working on short scripts of around 5 minutes in length.
- Follow direction closely and be willing to retake recordings as necessary for timing, emphasis, and clarity.
- Submit clean, well-labeled audio files according to the schedule provided.
Qualifications Required:
- Native-level fluency in Tamil with strong and easy-to-understand speech.
- Ability to work in a silent recording environment free from background noise, echo, or hum.
- Good quality audio production setup including a high-quality microphone (USB/XLR), stable recording setup, and preferably a pop filter.

- Capacity to follow briefs effectively and take notes on pronunciation or style adjustments.
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous experience in voiceover, voice acting, podcasting, or other on-mic roles.
- Basic understanding of audio hygiene principles such as maintaining steady levels and consistent microphone distance to minimize the need for heavy editing.
Please note that this position is on a contract basis and allows for remote work. Your seniority level is considered mid-senior.,
