Job Description
- As a Quality Assurance Supervisor for interior works within our premier interior design and execution company specializing in high-end hospitality projects, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the highest standards of quality for fabrics and materials used in luxury hotel projects. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing fabric and material quality control, supervising mock-up rooms, conducting on-site quality assurance, and interacting with clients to address their specific requirements and concerns.
Your role will involve assessing the quality of fabrics used in hotel interiors, ensuring they meet the required standards for appearance, durability, texture, and color consistency. You will supervise the creation of mock-up rooms to align with design specifications and client expectations. Regular site visits will be conducted to monitor the quality of work, especially concerning fabric installation, finishes, and overall execution.
Effective communication with clients, interior designers, project managers, and contractors is essential to understand requirements, address concerns, and maintain the highest level of craftsmanship. Maintaining detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions, as well as preparing regular reports to track quality issues, will be part of your routine. Proactively identifying and resolving potential quality issues, collaborating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with local and international quality and safety standards are key aspects of your role.
To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or supervision, preferably in the interior design or hospitality industry, focusing on fabrics and materials used in luxury hotel interiors. An in-depth understanding of different fabric types, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage quality control on-site are essential. Proficiency in English, a relevant degree or diploma, and willingness to travel to various project sites within India and internationally are also required.
