Job Description

Country Head - On trade & Off Trade (Spirits)

Overview:


Dynamic and results-oriented senior leader with extensive experience in managing and growing alcoholic beverages businesses across on-trade (bars, restaurants, hotels) and off-trade (retail chains, supermarkets, liquor stores) channels.

Proven track record in driving market share, building strategic partnerships, leading high-performing sales and marketing teams, and ensuring compliance with Singapores stringent regulatory framework for alcohol distribution and promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the country business strategy in alignment with regional and global goals.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-trade accounts, national retail chains, and independent outlets.

- Drive brand visibility, consumer activation, and route-to-market initiatives for both premium and mass-market product portfolios.

- Lead the P&L for Singapore, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.

- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including sales, trade marketing, and distribution partners.

- Ensure full compliance with local alcohol licensing laws, advertising standards, and corporate governance policies.

- Identify and unlock new market opportunities and innovative channels to grow market share.

- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and key customer engagements.

Ideal Experience:


- Minimum 5+ years of progressive sales, trade marketing, and general management experience in the alcobev industry.

- Deep understanding of Singapores on-trade and off-trade landscape, customer dynamics, and consumer behavior.

- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and relationship management with key stakeholders, distributors, and regulatory bodies.

- Proven success in leading teams, launching new brands or categories, and delivering sustainable business growth.
