Role Overview
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for owning and growing strategic university relationships. Acting as the trusted advisor for our partner institutions, youll drive adoption of EDMOs tools, ensure customer satisfaction, and uncover opportunities to expand product usage. This role requires a strong mix of relationship management, technical aptitude, and business acumen to help universities transform their admissions operations with AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned university accounts (CIOs, VPs of Enrollment, Admissions Directors).
Drive customer success outcomes: improved adoption, retention, and expansion of EDMOs solutions.
Conduct regular business reviews to showcase ROI, share usage analytics, and align EDMO with client priorities.
Collaborate with product and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and effective solution rollout.
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities across EDMOs suite (e.g., Document Intelligence, GPA Calculator, Interview Analyzer, Credit Transfer).
Build strong client advocacy and generate case studies, testimonials, and referrals.
Monitor account health and proactively resolve risks to ensure renewals.
Requirements
36 years of experience in Key Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise SaaS/AI sales.

Prior exposure to EdTech, Higher Education, or SaaS platforms is strongly preferred.
Strong ability to navigate C-level and VP-level conversations within universities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret client data and propose value-driven solutions.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or Slate preferred.
