Role & responsibilities

• Conduct Safety Induction Training for all company employees and contract workers.
• Create safety awareness and training programs for security guards and supervisors.
• Develop and implement Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all critical activities.
• Maintain detailed accident and incident investigation reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Prepare task-wise PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirement lists and ensure their availability and proper use.
• Design and update training materials for various safety programs and obtain management approval.

• Identify and report safety violations, suggesting corrective measures for improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of and compliance with statutory safety standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and sustain a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the work permit system (Hot Work, Height Work, Confined Space, etc.) and ensure compliance and Maintain adequate PPE stock and track usage
• Record and report all accidents/incidents in prescribed formats
• Organize and document Plant Safety Committee Meetings and follow up on action points.
• Maintain records and reports for mock drills, safety audits, and committee meetings

• Ensure timely maintenance and functional checks of fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, alarm systems, and sprinklers, with area-wise checklists.
• Conduct safety inductions and briefings for visitors and new employees.
• Provide first aid assistance in case of injuries or medical emergencies.
• Ensure strict adherence to government and statutory safety compliances at all times.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Qualification: "Post Diploma in Industrial Safety is the must"
