Context of this Job
This is an open position for Finance and Accounts at Isha Foundation.
The foothills of the Velliangiri mountains, forty kilometers from the city of Coimbatore in South India, serve as home for the Isha Yoga Center. The Center is dedicated to fostering inner transformation and creating an established state of wellbeing in individuals. The large residential facility houses an active international community of brahmacharis, full-time volunteers and visitors. Established by Sadhguru as a powerful sthana (a center for inner growth), it is unique in its offering of all the four paths of yoga – gnana (knowledge), karma (action), kriya (energy) and bhakti (devotion). Every week, thousands of people converge at the center to seek out inner peace and wellbeing, making it a vibrant hub of spiritual growth and activity.

Purpose of the Job
The field accountant needs to meet the vendors and complete the vendor registration and then send the quotation with approved bank voucher to ashram for processing payment.
Once purchase is complete, the original bill needs to be sent along with approved voucher for settlement.
Job Responsibilities
1. Meeting all Nadiveeras and collecting their bills.
2. Checking the bills if they are correct or need rectification.
3. Verifying with ashram Accounts team if the bill and voucher is correctly prepared.
4. Getting signature from approval authority in yavatmal.
5. Sending all these vouchers by courier to ashram.
Apart from these, for any purchases - we discourage cash payments as far as possible.
To make any bank payments there is a process to be followed to register the vendor.
The field accountant needs to meet the vendors and complete the vendor registration and then send the quotation with approved bank voucher to ashram for processing payment.
Once purchase is complete, the original bill needs to be sent along with approved voucher for settlement.
Additionally the field accountant will also need to maintain a record of all advances that have been given to each of the team member and settlements happening against each advance.
Reminders for advance settlements to the team members need to be given on a regular basis.
We also have an app where each voucher needs to be entered. This entry should be completed before dispatching the vouchers to ashram
