- You have an exciting opportunity to join the team at ISKCON Bangalore in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru as a Scriptwriter. As a Scriptwriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling scripts for various multimedia content such as videos, reels, short films, and podcasts. Your role will involve defining characters, setting the narrative flow, and effectively communicating philosophical, cultural, or spiritual themes.
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Scriptwriting, Screenwriting, or Film Studies, along with specialized courses in writing, creative writing, scriptwriting, or content creation. We are looking for someone with strong storytelling abilities, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of audience engagement. Proficiency in scriptwriting, content ideation, and developing platform-specific content that aligns with our mission and voice is essential.
Fluency in English and Hindi, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages, is a must. You should be proficient in grammar, vocabulary, and have a good understanding of cultural nuances. Additionally, experience in content planning, brand-consistent messaging, and the ability to write emotionally compelling, value-driven narratives are highly desirable.
As a Scriptwriter, you will be required to adapt tone, structure, and vocabulary based on the age, platform, and spiritual maturity of the intended audience. You must ensure that every script has a clear structure, maintains logical flow, and is edited for accuracy, tone, and clarity. Adapting content across different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram reels, live stage, or voiceover narrations while keeping platform dynamics in mind is also part of your responsibilities.

Strong research skills are crucial for this role, as you will need to conduct thorough research to gather information, verify facts, and stay up-to-date with current trends.
