Job Description
Reporting to: CFO
Role Purpose
To independently manage the Legal function of NITCO, ensuring strong legal governance, risk mitigation, and effective contract and litigation management across Tiles, Marble, and Mosaic businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal & Contract Management
- Drafting, vetting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, dealer agreements, vendor contracts, lease deeds, logistics agreements, NDAs, and MOUs
- Provide legal advisory to management on business risks, compliance, and mitigation
- End-to-end handling of litigation, disputes, and legal notices, including coordination with external counsels
- Compliance & Governance Support
- Support management on legal compliance requirements applicable to business operations
- Review and support implementation of policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks
- Handle regulatory notices, inspections, and correspondence
- Risk Management & Advisory
- Identify legal risks across business operations, contracts, and expansion initiatives
- Provide practical, business-aligned legal solutions while protecting company interests
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single point of contact for external lawyers, law firms, and consultants
- Work closely with business, finance, HR, and operations teams
Education & Experience
- LLB & CS
- 8 12 years experience in Legal roles
- Experience in manufacturing / listed companies preferred

- Strong command over contract law and corporate legal matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Ability to operate independently with high ownership
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence
