Job Description
The Change Coordinator is responsible for managing the process of implementing changes to IT systems and services. This role ensures that all changes are carried out with minimal disruption to services, and that they align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Management Process:
- Coordinate and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Review and assess Change Requests (CRs) for completeness, accuracy, and potential impacts.
- Ensure that all changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and monitor the status of CRs through their lifecycle from submission to closure.
- Ensure that change implementation and post-implementation reviews are conducted.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks associated with proposed changes.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that rollback plans are in place and tested.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that changes comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all changes.
- Prepare reports and metrics on change management activities for senior management.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for change-related inquiries and issues.
- Communicate effectively with IT teams, business units, and external partners.
- Provide training and support to staff on change management processes and tools.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the change management process and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the organizations change management strategy.
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in IT change management or a related role.

- Experience with ITIL practices and frameworks is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in change management tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- 24/7 Support
- ITIL Foundation certification or higher is desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud services and related change management practices is an advantage.
