Role Description

As an Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of developers and engineers, managing the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions. You will be responsible for driving architecture decisions, mentoring team members, and overseeing the development of applications using Node.js, Python, Microservices, Azure, and MongoDB. You will work closely with product managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and deployment of microservices-based applications.
• 
  Architect, develop, and maintain Node.js and Python-based backend services.
• Design and implement scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-native services and infrastructure.
• Drive best practices for code quality, performance, and security, ensuring the team follows industry standards.
• Work with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee and guide the development of MongoDB-based systems, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring junior engineers, and conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, etc.) to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and efficient development processes.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and integrate innovative solutions into the engineering processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on Node.js and Python.
• 8+ years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with proven success in delivering large-scale projects.
• In-depth experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Strong experience in building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in cloud-native tools and services (Azure Functions, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
