Assistant STPI & SEZ Compliance Manager

What this job involves:
Leading to success
As STPI/SEZ Compliance Assistant Manager, you’ll ensure that all the Statutory compliance returns are filed on time with various authorities without any delay, must have vast knowledge in STPI and SEZ operation. To do so, you’ll constantly need to adhere the changes of import export regulations, Foreign Trade policy and procedure, Customs Tariff Act. You’ll also set monthly internal audit review and related compliance checks. Maintain good relation with customer, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers and deliver as per the requirement.
Also part of your job scope is to ensure that to maintain high level compliance of STPI and SEZ.

You’ll determine the needs, requirements and constraints of our customers to ensure we deliver all their needs and support on time, related to STPI and SEZ operation.

This role is instrumental in creating a culture that fosters honest and trustworthy communication. You’ll act as a role model for all team members so that they feel welcome and valued. You will lend your knowledge and expertise to develop staff, and provide regular feedback and guidance.

Experienced in the field
Do you have a degree in a relevant Customs, STPI and SEZ field? On top of that, you should also have 6+ years of work experience in IT/ITES Company handling STPI, SEZ, Logistics operation & return filings.

Technical and business savvy
Being an Assistant manager requires you to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Share point, good presentation skill. You are also expected to have a deep knowledge in FTP, Customs Act, Central Excise Act, EOU, SEZ and Tariff Act. Knowledge on GST and Assets tagging would be added advantage for the role.
