Partner - Statutory Audit - CA

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Partner - Statutory Audit to lead and manage the audit practice in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and client relationship management skills to drive quality, compliance, and growth in the assurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee statutory audits for a portfolio of clients across industries in compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards (Ind AS, IFRS, Companies Act, etc.).
- Ensure high-quality audit delivery and adherence to professional standards and firm policies.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Provide technical guidance to audit teams on complex accounting and reporting matters.

- Review financial statements, audit reports, and internal control recommendations.
- Lead business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and expanding service offerings.
- Mentor and develop audit team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Tax, Advisory, and Risk Consulting) to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging accounting developments.

Preferred Background:

- Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of relevant experience in statutory/financial audits.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or a reputed mid/large-sized CA firm.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
