Job Description

What role will you play in the team:

As an Assistant Product Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving the product roadmap for our fintech solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring innovative financial products to market, focusing on user needs and market opportunities. You will assist senior PMs in defining and executing product strategy.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing user data, and identifying key product features. Your role will involve creating product specifications, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful launch of new features and products. You will also track product performance and iterate based on user feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within the fintech space.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Create detailed product specifications and user stories, ensuring clear communication of product requirements.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Monitor product performance using Product Analytics tools, identify areas for improvement, and implement iterative changes.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine product features and improve user experience.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • Support the launch of new products and features, including creating marketing materials and training documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the fintech industry.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
  • 0-1 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in using project management tools (Jira, Trello).
  • Basic understanding of wireframing and prototyping (Figma, Sketch).
  • Experience with Product Analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

A Day in the Life:

A typical day might involve analyzing user data to identify areas for product improvement, collaborating with engineers on feature development, participating in Agile sprint planning, and presenting product updates to stakeholders. You'll also spend time researching market trends and competitive offerings.
