Associate Product Manager

What role will you play in the team

As an Associate Product Manager based in Mumbai, you will serve as a foundational pillar within our digital product division, taking full ownership of specific product modules from conception through to launch. You will collaborate extensively with engineering, design, and customer success teams to execute the product vision, optimize user journeys, and drive key adoption metrics that align with the overarching company growth strategy.

What you will do

You will take charge of analyzing user behavior through advanced analytics tools, defining comprehensive sprint backlogs, and running iterative testing phases. Your daily responsibilities include prioritizing feature requests based on customer feedback, ensuring technical feasibility with engineering teams, tracking key performance indicators, and presenting product milestone updates to executive stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

Key responsibility

• Translate high-level product strategy into detailed technical specifications, epics, and user stories within Jira for engineering sprints.
• Execute rigorous product discovery and usability testing using tools like UsabilityHub and Hotjar to validate new feature concepts.
• Track, measure, and report on core product KPIs and user retention funnels using Amplitude and Google Analytics dashboards.
• Manage end-to-end product feature life cycles, ensuring timely delivery, rigorous quality assurance testing, and smooth deployment cycles.
• Partner with customer support and CRM teams utilizing Salesforce and HubSpot to analyze user tickets and feature demand patterns.
  
• Maintain dynamic product roadmaps using ProductPlan to align cross-functional dependencies and communicate delivery timelines effectively.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field of study.
• Between 1 to 2 years of proven hands-on experience in digital product management, feature ownership, or software development lifecycles.
• Deep working knowledge of Agile Methodologies, Scrum ceremonies, and Kanban workflow optimization practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing issue tracking and project management platforms such as Jira, Trello, and Monday.com.
• Hands-on expertise in creating user interface wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma or Adobe XD.
• Advanced analytical skills with practical experience in product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of customer feedback mechanisms and survey platforms like SurveyMonkey, Hotjar, and UsabilityHub.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and proven track record of managing cross-functional technical teams.

A Day in the Life

You kick off your morning by analyzing user engagement trends on Amplitude and reviewing yesterday's sprint velocity in Jira. Next, you host a cross-functional alignment session with the UX design and engineering teams to review prototype iterations in Figma. Post-lunch, you analyze customer feedback aggregated from HubSpot, refine the upcoming sprint backlog, and close your day by updating the product roadmap in ProductPlan for the upcoming quarter executive review.
