Backend Developer - Node.js Architect

What role will you play in the team: As a Backend Developer and Node.js Architect, you will spearhead the design and development of scalable and efficient server-side logic for our client's core applications. You will ensure the robustness, security, and performance of our backend infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our technical direction and mentoring junior developers.

What you will do: You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance Node.js applications, create and manage APIs, implement security protocols, and optimize database queries. You will also work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of our backend systems.

Key responsibility:

• Design and implement scalable and robust backend architectures using Node.js and related technologies.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for various applications.
• Optimize database queries and performance for high-traffic applications.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data protection.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• 
  Contribute to the development of backend standards and best practices.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and scaling.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in backend development.
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and related frameworks (Express.js).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
