Backend Developer - Node.js

What role will you play in the team

As a Backend Developer specializing in Node.js, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic for our applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Your expertise in Node.js and related technologies will be essential to the success of our backend infrastructure.

What you will do

Your daily tasks will include writing efficient and well-documented code, designing and implementing APIs, and ensuring the performance and security of our backend systems. You will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the overall architecture of our applications. You will focus on creating secure and scalable APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Design and implement database schemas using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and related technologies.
• Experience with Express.js framework.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
