Backend Engineer (Node.js)

What role will you play in the team

As a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic and APIs for our applications. You'll collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

What you will do

You will design, implement, and test APIs using Node.js and related frameworks. You'll work with databases, implement security measures, and optimize backend performance. You'll also be involved in troubleshooting issues and ensuring the reliability of our server-side infrastructure.

Key responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Optimize backend performance for scalability and efficiency.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
