Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer (E2), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Manage and scale cloud based infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Good understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (AWS,Google Cloud Platform) .
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.(TCP/IP,HTTP,DNS).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search and MongoDB.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in a DevOps environment
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus.
